Transition <i>A</i>²Σ⁺–<i>X</i>² Π des molécules P¹⁶O et P¹⁸O. Perturbations de l'état <i>A</i>²Σ⁺

Abstract

New emission bands of the A 2 Σ + –X 2 Π system of the P 16 O molecule have been analyzed and this transition for P 18 O has been studied for the first time, with a mean dispersion of 0.30 Å/mm. The levels 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 of the A 2 Σ + state for P 16 O and the levels 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 of this state for P 18 O show perturbations from various species, some of which, studied previously for P 16 O, are attributable to a 4 Σ − state and to the C 2 Σ − state. A vibrational quantification of the 4 Σ − state is tried.
