Experience with botulinum toxin in the treatment of cerebral palsy.

Abstract

Intramuscular injection of botulinum toxin is effective in the treatment of selected children with spastic and dystonic forms of cerebral palsy. Improvement is not permanent, but the injection can be repeated.
