Soil Site Suitability Evaluation for Mangrove Plantation in Kuwait

Abstract

A site suitability evaluation for mangrove plantation was conducted along the coastline of Kuwait to find potential site for mangrove plantation. Considering various factors for site selection twenty five sites were identified, of which sixteen sites were identified as potential sites for establishing healthy mangrove plantation. The soil site suitability varied from highly suitable to moderately suitable depending on certain site limitations.
