Abstract

Stapled haemorrhoidectomy is as effective as conventional haemorrhoidectomy for the treatment of haemorrhoids, but with the exception of skin tag prolapse. There is a need for long-term follow-up for the changes in manometric parameters after haemorrhoidectomy.
