Genetic algorithms applied to microwave circuit optimization

Abstract

Genetic algorithms are applied to the optimization of planar and waveguide microwave circuits. Nonlinear constraints and multi-objective design goals are implemented in the optimization process. The computation expenses of this optimization method is compared with a traditional gradient-search.
