Clinical implications of fatty pancreas: Correlations between fatty pancreas and metabolic syndrome

Abstract

Sonographic fatty pancrease showed higher insulin resistance, visceral fat area, triglyceride, and ALT levels than normal pancreases. Fatty pancreas also showed a strong correlation with metabolic syndrome.
