Efficacy of nitazoxanide, tizoxanide and tizoxanide/albendazole sulphoxide combination against Taenia crassiceps cysts

Abstract

Our results suggest that nitazoxanide in combination with albendazole could be useful for treatment of cysticercosis infections. Additional in vivo studies are required to confirm this hypothesis.
