The suspension system of the Maglev vehicle has nonlinear and hysteresis characters. The equilibrium point of maglev system is unstable. It is very difficult to control the suspension system with fine dynamic and static characteristics. A composite model combining PID algorithm with fuzzy control is proposed and a composite fuzzy-PID controller is designed. The proposed algorithm is verified through the simulation and experiment.
