High electrochemical performance in asymmetric supercapacitors using MWCNT/nickel sulfide composite and graphene nanoplatelets as electrodes

A high-performance asymmetric supercapacitor was fabricated using MWCNTs/NiS composite and GNPs as electrodes, exhibiting high specific capacitance of ∼181 F g<sup>−1</sup> at 1 A g<sup>−1</sup> current density and excellent cyclic stability with 92% retention after 1000 cycles at 2 A g<sup>−1</sup> current density.
