We investigate the reconstruction of band-limited 2-D functions from nonuniformly spaced samples. Three algorithms which iterate between the space and frequency domains are developed. The algorithms differ in the manner in which the known value of the function at sample points is used to correct the reconstruction at each iteration. Convergence of the algorithms is speeded by choosing the largest possible gain for the error correction. The performance of the three methods is compared to that of thin-plate spline interpolation in terms of signal to error energy ratio.
