Image Reconstruction
Image Reconstruction is a mathematical and algorithmic process in biomedical imaging by which raw measurement data acquired by an imaging system (such as projection, k-space, or count data) are transformed, using models of the imaging physics and acquisition geometry, into a spatially or temporally resolved image representation of the underlying object or activity distribution.
