A pattern-type calculus is formulated enabling a very simple generation of the N-electron spin-symmetry adapted orthonormal basis for an arbitrary spin multiplet as well as an efficient calculation of the matrix representatives of the elementary raising (lowering) generators in such bases. A simple example illustrating this technique is also presented.
