The Cardioprotective Effect of Icariin on Ischemia–Reperfusion Injury in Isolated Rat Heart: Potential Involvement of the <scp>PI</scp>3<scp>K</scp>‐<scp>A</scp>kt Signaling Pathway

Abstract

Our study suggests that ICA has a cardioprotective effect against I/R injury, which is associated with its antioxidative and anti-apoptotic effect, at least partially, through the activation of PI3K-Akt signaling pathway.
