High‐density lipoprotein and homocysteine levels correlate inversely in preeclamptic women in northern Nigeria

Abstract

These results show that preeclampsia/eclampsia is associated with increased tHcy levels and that HDL levels are depressed in Nigerian women with this hypertensive, pregnancy associated disorder.
