The paper examines the evolving landscape of organized industrial relations in Europe, questioning the future of labour market associations and the paradoxes of organized decentralization. It maps organized versus disorganized decentralization, analyzes the logic and structure of associational action, and evaluates neo‑liberal challenges and industrial change across four country studies and the financial sector, linking associations to public policy. The authors conclude that corporatism must be reconstructed to adapt to contemporary industrial relations.
