Structures in Carbonate Rocks Made Visible by Luminescence Petrography

Abstract

Using a simple device which should bring the luminescence-petrography technique within the grasp of all interested petrographers, we have examined approximately 250 thin sections of carbonate rocks and minerals. Many new phenomena became apparent.
