Multiple testing for seismic data using bootstrap

Abstract

Investigates the estimation of both the number of waves and of the wave parameters for wavefields in a geophysical application. A parametric method for wave parameter estimation in connection with a multiple test procedure is presented. The distribution of the corresponding test statistic for wideband data is approximated by the central limit theorem and alternatively by a bootstrap procedure.
