A note on the determination of the ester sulphate content of sulphated polysaccharides

7-hydroxyl group of flavonols; for the present, it is suggested that a separate enzyme is required for catalysing this step in the synthesis. SUMMARY 1. Nine flavonol glycosides have been found in potato flowers. They are the 3-glucosides, 3rhamnosylglucosides, 3-diglucosides and 3-gluc- osylrhamnosylglucosides ofkampferol and quercetin and the 3-rhamnosylglucoside of myricetin.
