Novel fluorinated ketene N,S-acetals 3 were readily prepared by the reaction of fluorosubstituted cyanoacetamide derivatives with arylisothiocyanate in the presence of potassium hydroxide, followed by the alkylation of the produced salts with methyl iodide.
