The spectrum of antimicrobial activity of the bacteriocin subtilosin A

Abstract

Subtilosin A has limited antimicrobial activity against a number of human pathogens which, combined with its relative ineffectiveness against some capsulated pathogens, may limit its usefulness as a human therapeutic.
