Abstract

Butanediol biphenylcarboxylic acid derivatives represent a new class of antiresorptive drug that might be of therapeutic value in the prevention and treatment of diseases characterized by osteoclast activation such as osteoporosis, cancer-associated bone disease, and Paget's disease of bone.
