Unilateral Hematocolpos Associated with Agenesis of the Kidney

Abstract

Two girls with paravaginal masses were shown to have unilateral hematocolpos associated with duplication of the genital tracts and absence of the kidney on the same side as the hematocolpos. Roentgen diagnosis of this developmental anomaly can be made by excretory urography, hysterosalpingography, and filling the paravaginal mass with contrast material.
