Abstract

The marking of the skin following X-ray myelography, for the benefit of accurate surgical approach to a lesion, is a routine task carried out by the radiologist at the time of the examination, usually by using a wire marker opposite the lesion demonstrated and a corresponding scratch on the skin. It is worth noting that the patient would be lying prone, in a position similar to that occurring on the surgical operating table.
