Abstract

From MnB to MnC: The first example of a concerted borylene metathesis through a clean cycloaddition–cycloreversion sequence is established, emphasizing the decisive influence of boron-bound substituents, and alkyl groups in particular, on the reactivity of borylene complexes. Cyclic reaction intermediates were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis.
