Performance pedagogy scholarship often incorporates traditional (orderly) scholarly writing practices, even as the activities such scholars describe are far from orderly. Chaos theory provides an alternative explanatory model for understanding and writing about performance pedagogy. I propose that chaos in form and content is more than a metaphor for such radical performance pedagogy. Pieces of the essay unravel, expand, and repeat to create a chaotic chorus of performative pedagogical practice.
