Abstract

Abstract New determinations of the disproportionation and combination ratios between CF 2 H and C 2 H 5 radicals yield (the hydrogen acceptor radical is given first) Δ(CF 2 H, C 2 H 5 ) = 0.068 ± 0.008, and Δ(C 2 H 5 , CF 2 H) = 0.37 ± 0.01. A reevaluation of the existing data on CFH 2 and CF 3 radicals leads to the following recommended values, Δ(CFH 2 , C 2 H 5 ) = 0.038 ± 0.006, and Δ(CF 3 , C 2 H 5 ) = 0.11 = ± 0.02.
