Abstract

A patient had recurrent giant pseudopolyps in association with localized ulcerative colitis. Three similar cases are recorded in the literature. The characteristic features include the roentgenographic appearance of a polypoid or villose pattern rather than the ulcerated form, the gross pathologic demonstration of interconnecting mucosal bridges, and the nonneoplastic nature of the overlying colonic epithelium.
