Bisabolone Derivatives and Sesquiterpene Lactones from<i>Centaurea</i>Species

Abstract

The investigation of three CENTAUREA species collected in Argentina afforded, in addition to several known sesquiterpene lactones, a new guaianolide, a germacranolide, and two bisabolone derivatives. The structures were elucidated by highfield (1)H-NMR spectroscopy.
