In 38 independent hamster-bovine hybrids, the segregation of 17 bovine enzyme markers was studied. The results showed three syntenic groups; LDHB-PEPB-TPI, PGM3-ME1-SOD2, and PGD-ENOl, whereas nine other markers did not show any syntenic relationship: LDHA, MDH2, LDH1, SOD1, PKM2, PGM1, PGM2, AK1, and MPI.
