Auger electron peaks at 94 and 87 eV have been observed in the dN(E) /dE of the secondary-electron energy distribution N(E) from oxidized Be. These peaks are explained in terms of 1s2p2p (94 eV) and 1s2s2s (87 eV) transitions. This interpretation is consistent with an energy-level diagram and a total-density-of-states curve constructed using existing experimental data.
