NMR Studies of a Series of Iron (III) Dithiocarbamate Complexes

Abstract

The temperature dependence of the proton NMR spectra of a series of iron (III) dithiocarbamates can be interpreted on a model with an iron atom in an intermediate crystal field of octahedral symmetry. The hyperfine interaction coupling constants for the various protons in the 6A1 state arise from d-electron delocalization through the ligands.
