Attenuation of the Neuropsychiatric Effects of Ketamine With Lamotrigine

Abstract

Glutamate release-inhibiting drugs may reduce the hyperglutamatergic consequences of NMDA receptor dysfunction implicated in the pathophysiologic processes of neuropsychiatric illnesses such as schizophrenia. Further study is needed.
