Order Parameter and Molecular Polarizabilities in 60.4, 60.2 and 70.1

Abstract

Abstract In some N(p-n-alkoxy benzylidene) p-n-alkylanilines the refractive indices ne, no and the order parameter are measured as a function of temperature. From the experimental data the molecular polarizabilites and its anisotropies at different wavelengths were calculated using different internal field models. The merits of each model were discussed.
