X-Ray Intensity Fluctuations in Cygnus XR-1

Abstract

A reanalysis of 1967 September data shows apparent fluctuations in the X-ray intensity of Cyg XR-1 on a time scale of several seconds. There is no evidence, however, for the periodicities that have recently been reported by other observers.
