A case of malignant melanoma, Hodgkin's disease, and Kaposi's sarcoma is reported. From the literature, it appears likely that the malignant melanoma is a chance occurrence while the Kaposi's sarcoma and Hodgkin's disease are more closely related. Yet this case raises the possibility of the existence of a general mesenchymal susceptibility to tumor induction. In evaluating cancer patients with new symptoms, the possible presence of another primary neoplasm, particularly one with a more favorable prognosis, should be considered.
