A simple extension of the pair approximation to AC hopping conductivity in disordered systems to embrace the DC limit

Abstract

The Miller-Abrahams equivalent circuit is used to motivate a simple modification of the pair approximation to AC hopping conductivity which yields transparent analytical formulae showing the correct behaviour at all frequencies including zero.
