Charge Transport

Charge transport is the fundamental process by which electric charge moves through a material or device via the migration of charge carriers such as electrons, holes, or ions, distinguished from related conduction phenomena by its dependence on the microscopic mechanisms and energetics governing carrier motion in disordered or structured electronic systems.
