Abstract

Abstract Green manuring to flooded soil decreased the persistence of DDT. This practice resulted in selective pathway of reductive dechlorination of DDT to DDD without enhanced formation of DDE. Decontamination of DDT polluted soil was demonstrated by this agricultural practice of green manuring.
