Abstract

Summary Five cases of acute leukemia with complicating anorectal necrotizing ulceration are reported. In all five, the ulcer was due to Pseudomonas infection, and was associated with death from septicemia. The distinctive characteristics of the ulcers are discussed in terms of the causal organism.
