Above-threshold ionization in the presence of a DC field. Application to H<sup>-</sup>

By applying a nonperturbative, many-electron, many-photon theory, the authors have computed the ATI spectrum of H- for a low intensity laser field at omega =0.0086, 0.0095 and 0.018 au in the presence of a parallel DC field with strengths of the order of 10-4 au. The result of the addition of the DC field is a significant enhancement of the nonlinear aspects of ATI.
