Synthesis of <i>N</i>-Arylhydroxylamines by Tellurium-Catalyzed Reduction of Aromatic Nitro Compounds

Abstract

Abstract p-Substituted nitrobenzenes were readily reduced with sodium borohydride and a catalytic amount of tellurium to give the corresponding hydroxylamines in good yields.
