Split-delivery routeing heuristics in livestock feed distribution

Abstract

AbstractIn this paper, we describe a feed distribution problem encountered on a cattle ranch in Arizona. The problem is cast as a collection of split-delivery capacitated rural postman problem with time windows on arcs. We discuss the generic problems and several heuristics.
