Abstract

Abstract The mass spectra of cis ‐ and trans ‐p‐menthane, 5 menthenes, 5 saturated bicyclic hydrocarbons C 10 H 18 , and 22 terpenes C 10 H 16 have been measured. Only the spectra of cis ‐ and trans ‐alloocimene were indistinguishable from one another; all the other substances gave specific fragmentation patterns that can be used in their identification.
