In a recent paper (1) we described methods for the separation of an hypophyseal fraction having as its specific gonadotropic action stimulation of the interstitial tissue of the ovary and testis; we have hence designated this the interstitial cell stimulating hormone (ICSH). The best method for fractionation of the gonadotropic complex so as to obtain the ICSH is shown in abbreviated form in Table I.
