Infrared Absorption Spectra of Monodeuterated Pyridines

Abstract

For this work 2D-, 3D-, and 4D-pyridine have been prepared from corresponding halogen compounds. The infrared spectra of the compounds in the liquid phase are reported over the spectral range 400—3200 cm—1. Interpretation of the spectra is carried through by analogy with the spectra of isotopic benzenes, pyridine, and pyridine-d5.
