A female child developed an osteogenic sarcoma of the tibia at the age of 5 years. She was known previously to suffer from the Rothmund‐Thomson syndrome. DNA repair studies and photo‐testing of the skin were normal. This is the first report of a non‐cutaneous malignant neoplasm associated with Rothmund‐Thomson syndrome and the possible significance of the association is discussed.
