The doubly charged states of Xe and their associated satellite states have been measured over the energy range 33-54.5 eV by threshold photoelectron-threshold photoelectron coincidence (TPEsCO) spectroscopy. The Xe2+ 5s25p4(3P, 1D, 1S) and 5s5p5(3P, 1P) doubly charged states and the (Xe2+)* 5s25p3nℓ satellite states have been observed. The results are compared with previous optical data. Ab initio atomic multiconfigurational Dirac-Fock calculations were performed to aid the assignments of the observed features.
