Surface Plasmon-Polaritons

Abstract

Measurements of hemispherical elastic surface plasmon-polariton scattering in conditions of surface plasmon resonance have been realized and show the existence of well pronounced far field structures. They are interpreted in terms of the interaction of the surface plasmon-polaritons with one-dimensional objects located at the interface, which supports their propagation.
