Abstract

A case of juvenile xanthogranuloma with calcospherites and a survey of the literature are presented. Calcospherites in a skin lesion are an oddity and have not been described previously in juvenile xanthogranuloma. It is suggested that at least some psammoma bodies are intravascular, a finding consistent with one of the prevailing theories of their development.
