A New HL‐A Antigen: TY

Abstract

A new antigen, TY, of the human histocompatibility HL–A system is described. The frequency of TY in a Caucasian population is 0.0363. Studies indicate that the gene TY (frequency 0.0183) behaves as an allele of the FOUR (2nd) HL–A locus.
